Friends, I have been eagerly waiting to post these bridals of the sweet and beautiful Hayley. I had a blast photographing her engagement photos with her now husband(!!), Garman, almost a year ago, and we went out for this stunning bridal shoot this past July. Hayley and Garman were married at the end of September, so I am now safe to post these images from a wonderful bridal portrait session!
Hayley chose the beautiful Rice University campus to take her bridal portraits in memory of her grandfather, who was a Rice University graduate. Hayley’s mother brought the Rice University ring worn by her father and a strand of pearls worn by her mother (both pictured above), which I was delighted to include in the shoot 🙂
Rice University is very interesting architecturally in that on the outskirts of campus you are confronted with grand, cathedral-style buildings, but as you weave your way into campus your eye catches on a modern-style coffee shop and bits of abstract art. I knew that this location would be the perfect setup for a high-fashion photo shoot – and Hayley delivered!
Hayley, thank you for an amazing photo shoot. And thank you to Hayley’s sister, mom, dad, mother-in-law, and friend who provided dress fluffs, makeup touch-ups, pop-up dressing stations made from bed sheets, and encouragement throughout the shoot 🙂 You guys rock!
